Andrey Kuznetsov

Since early 2014, Andrey Kuznetsov has been back in the Armed Forces. As part of a special purpose brigade in 2015-2017, he participated in combat operations in Syria. He was twice awarded the Order of Courage. During the invasion of Ukraine, he died on August 13, 2022. Awarded the Order of Courage posthumously.

Since childhood he started boxing and hand-to-hand fighting. He trained under the guidance of Gennady Kholodkov and Evgeny Kochetovsky. Became the champion of Mordovia in boxing, performed the first sports category. 

During training and service, he was a member of the national team in military hand-to-hand combat, has become a multiple winner and medalist of all-Russian and district competitions. Fulfilled the standard of the master of sports and became an instructor and coach in hand-to-hand combat.
