Place of Birth: Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol Krai, Russia

Place of Death: Andzhievsky, Mineralovodsky District, Stavropol Krai, Russia

Cause of Death: "Carbon Monoxide Poisoning"

Official reports claim "the pensioners were poisoned by carbon monoxide due to a faulty water pump. In the private house of the Sviridovs in the village of Andzhievsky, Mineralovodsky urban district, an automatic gas heater with electronic control was installed. It was connected to the power grid. In the event of a power outage, a fuse was supposed to go off in it, which would have blocked the gas supply, but this did not happen.

About a week ago, when the Sviridovs were sleeping, the electricity was turned off in the village, the automatic power generators did not work, as well as the fuse in the pump itself, so the house was filled with gas, and the couple suffocated."

However, according to Kommersant, the specialists of the local city gas company did not find an excess of carbon monoxide in the room after taking measurements.

His death comes after his numerous public criticisms over the current state of the Russian Air Force: “We are forced to appoint not fully trained officers because there are no better ones. For the same reason we are sending to military academies third-rate pilots. This did not happen in the past.”
