On August 13, 2019, the drunken deputy head of the Brasovo police department, Denis Terekhov, beat a 17-year-old teenager. The conflict occurred in a summer cafe in the village of Lokot.

Denis Terekhov and the teenager moved beyond the perimeter of the tent. After that, the man hit Ivan Vakhrushin in the face and he fell, hitting his head on the steps. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Then he fell into a coma and subsequently died.

At the investigation and in court, Terekhov pleaded not guilty to the death of the young man. The court sentenced him to 13.5 years in prison. Also, in favor of the parents of teenagers, 1.5 million compensation was recovered. Terekhov was stripped of his rank of "police major."
