On February 5, 2022, his battalion left for exercises, and on the 24th they were already in the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine. On May 27, Grigory received his first wound. The hospital was unable to remove the fragment stuck in his leg, and with it he went back to his own people, to the front line.
Georgy Khudik died in the Northern Military District on September 6, 2022.
