On July 7, 2022 Sergey Valeryevich Rzhavin died as a result of a wound incompatible with life during a special military operation in Ukraine.
Sergey Valeryevich Rzhavin was born on January 7, 1990. In 1997 he went to the 1st class of the Soviet High School № 2. Since 2003 he studied in the cadet class.
During studies he proved himself from a positive side, proved himself as a capable pupil. Shows good results in studying subjects of physics and mathematics. His diligence and perseverance allowed him to study with good and excellent marks. Repeatedly acted on district Olympiads on physical training, physics, mathematics and became the prize-winner. Sergei had artistic ability. He was engaged in ballroom dancing. Played in KVN. As a part of a school team he won the republican business game-KVN on suffrage.
He was fond of tourism. Many times became the champion of the district in tourism in the national team of the school. Included in the national team of the district, in 2006 took 2nd place, and in 2005 - 3rd place at the national tourist gathering. In 2006 as a part of a school team he won the district stage of the military-sports game "Victory", and then as a part of a national team he took part in the Republican final of the game in Kozmodemyansk. The team won the final third place. Here as a member of the team Sergey took 2nd place in the team running on 100 meters, 2nd place in the grenade throwing.
After the qualifying camps he entered the national team of the Republic of Mari El to the All-Russian final of the military sports game "Victory" in Kazan. As a member of the team of the Republic of Mari El Sergey took the second place in the All-Russian finals of the game "Victory", the second place in overcoming obstacle course and the third place in marksmanship, Sergey was awarded diplomas in the hand-to-hand fighting. Repeatedly became the winner and medalist of the republican tournaments on soccer.
Sergei had good organizational skills. He was the deputy leader of the platoon. During the study he emphatically mastered military knowledge. He thoroughly studied the history of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, small arms. Twice he attended military field training camp at missile division, where he proved himself on the good side. He took 1st place in the obstacle course, as a member of the team he won the competition in various team sports and took the final 3rd place.
For his achievements he was awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Education, the military commissariat of the Republic, the district department of education.
Sergei has always been distinguished for his hard work, discipline, diligence and, most importantly, purposefulness. Having set a goal to become a military man, he always strived for it.
After finishing school Sergey entered Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, which he successfully graduated from in 2012. Studying in military school, did not break ties with his home school and classmates. He was a frequent guest at classes and events at school. He was actively involved in vocational guidance work. After graduation he served in special units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, performing responsible and challenging tasks to protect the interests of the state.


🏅 In 2021 Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation S. Shoigu personally awarded Sergei with the Order of Courage. The Order of Courage is a state award for a person's display of fearlessness, courage, self-sacrifice in protecting others, saving lives while on duty or in emergency conditions at the risk of his life. In May 2022 he was awarded the medal "For Bravery".
