Graduated in 1991 from the Syzran Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots. He completed all levels of military service: from cadet to helicopter squadron commander.
He began his service as a pilot-operator of a separate helicopter aviation squadron in the Trans-Baikal Military District.
In 1993, he was appointed helicopter commander of a separate helicopter regiment of the army corps in the Trans-Baikal Military District.
In 1995, he was transferred to the North Caucasus Military District as a helicopter commander of a separate helicopter regiment (combat and control).
In 2003, he was appointed commander of a helicopter flight (on Mi-24) of a helicopter squadron of a separate helicopter regiment (combat and control).

Died on June 16, 2022 while performing military duty during a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize neo-Nazi formations on the territory of Ukraine. Nominated for state award (posthumously). Knight of the 3rd Order of Courage.
