Upon returning from Syria, Major Alexander Nyudikov cheated on his wife, fought with her about it while drunk, and when she threatened to divorce him, he stabbed her to death with a kitchen knife. He then took her body into the forest, cut her arms off, and tried to burn her body. He was found guilty of murder, sentenced to 10.5 years in prison, and stripped of his rank.
He only served a little more than three years of his sentence, because Wagner needed fresh meat to “liberate Bakhmut”.
