From August 1994 to January 1995 he took part in hostilities in the Republic of North Ossetia and the Chechen Republic. Since 1999, he participated in the counter-terrorist operation on the territory of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Dagestan. He served in three specialties: a sniper, an explosives engineer and a diving officer. In total, he spent 3 years in war zones, was sent 13 times.
In 2007, he resigned, worked in the security service of Alfa-Bank. Married with three children: two daughters and a son. In January 2023 he volunteered and was deployed to Ukraine.
