On September 28, two significant events took place on the territory of the rural settlement of Mokry-Gashun, the opening of the Hero’s Desk in the Mokro-Gashun Secondary School No. 7 and the opening of a memorial plaque in the Park of Great Patriotic War Heroes dedicated to the SVO participant, Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Fedorovich Butenko, who died in Ukraine.
