Sergey held the Police rank of Major, but was given the Wagner rank of Lieutenant. As per our policy, he is being listed as a Major due to the decades of experience that are requisite for that rank. Prior to signing on with Wagner he was the head of the Kaltasinsky department of the Federal Penitentiary Service. He died outside Bakhmut.
