The hospital of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit by American missiles of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. The military doctor Seikaev organized the evacuation of the sick and civilians under fire, and he himself, despite the ongoing shelling, decided to fulfill his medical duty and stayed with non-transportable patients who did not have time to evacuate to a safe place. One of the rockets hit the room where Major Seikaev was with the sick. He received injuries incompatible with life.
