The videos below show the destruction of the Mi-8 it is believed Zangiev was piloting. This helicopter was delivering retired mid-level officers, who were specially hired by Wagner PMC to command the cons and other mercenaries. Of the 18 men onboard, only 1 survived the crash. That survivor was Lieutenant Colonel Lapikov [Cargo ID #734], who died from his wounds a week later.
