Evgeny ______

We have been monitoring Russian mass and social media for nearly two years waiting for more information about Evgeny to surface. To date we have not been able to definitively confirm anything beyond the fact that he died in Ukraine and was part of Samara's SOBR unit. While we hate publishing a card without even a full name, it's time to push it out of drafts at this point. We continue to watch for any additional information about him and will update this card when possible.

We know that just prior to his death being discovered, the SOBR "Omega" unit was attempting to hold Balakliya against the Ukrainian Kharkiv counteroffensive. They were hastily withdrawn from the area before it was overrun. Ukrainian sources claim the unit suffered significant losses.

The "Omega" unit themselves recorded a video during their extraction shouting: "We are SOBR "Omega"! We survived! All our personnel are alive! All personnel! Russia, Russians, Forward!"

Without further evidence it's impossible to tell whether Evegeny actually died in Balakliya, was wounded and died later, or simply died after "Omega" was redeployed elsewhere.
