Roman graduated from the Voronok school in 2000. Then he entered the Engineering and Artillery Institute in Penza. He was a senior assistant to the head of the service of the military institute of missile forces in Rostov, head of the missile and artillery weapons service in the city of Shali. He became a participant in a special operation in Ukraine on March 24. Died April 6th. Roman was buried in Rostov-on-Don on the Alley of Heroes of the Northern Cemetery.

From 2005 to 2007 he served as commander of a training platoon in Novocherkassk.
