Everlasting memory!" — the head of the Zelenodolsk district, Mikhail Afanasyev, announced the death of Sofronov. In the morning he visited the colonel's family and personally expressed his condolences.
“Daughter Kira is finishing 11th grade... A very kind family, all the relatives have gathered. The family is hardworking... They understand what happened. They say that Dmitry himself chose the military profession and prepared for it, he did everything consciously,” Afanasyev said.
