Separately, I would like to talk about the deputy commander of the airborne assault company, Major Dmitry Vostrikov. He always went ahead of his unit, and the battles in Mariupol were no exception. When it became necessary to suppress another enemy firing point located in a residential building, Vostrikov took six marines with him and advanced to the rear of the enemy. Coming close to the high-rise building, the major eliminated this point with a grenade launcher, allowing his unit to capture the building. However, at the same time, the Marine himself died at the hands of a sniper.
