On October 31, children from the "Milestones of History" club and 8th grade students also honored the memory with a minute of silence at the grave of Yakov Zhigulev.
Yasha studied at our school, in grades 10 and 11. After finishing school, he graduated from Voronezh Military University, receiving the profession of helicopter maintenance engineer. Yasha is a participant in the fighting in Syria. When the SVO began, he was sent to a combat zone. Yakov Vladimirovich fulfilled his military duty with honor and dignity, giving the most precious thing for it - his life. On October 17, 2023, during the bombing of the airfield, Yakov was seriously wounded, and on October 19 he passed away.

This is Georgy Aleksandrovich Annenkov, buried on the same day and in the same cemetery as Yakov Vladimirovich Zhigulev. His death is unrelated, but he is mentioned in the same post (above) as Yakov.
