Bordyug Alexander Alekseevich was enrolled in the Russian security authorities in 1997. As part of an operational combat group, he repeatedly took part in events involving risk to life. Participated in a counter-terrorism operation in the North Caucasus region. In 2022, he volunteered for a special military operation. In 2023, he died heroically during the capture of Artyomovsk. Alexander Bordyug was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
The fighter is survived by his adult parents Alexey Grigorievich, Galina Alekseevna, and his minor son Vladimir.
