Muslim Sultanov, upon completion of the Higher Police School, joined the ranks of the police. For years of service to the fatherland, he was awarded the departmental award “For Distinction in the Protection of Public Order,” a participant in the Chechen events and hostilities in Botlikh, and took part in establishing constitutional order in 1999 on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan. In 2015, having worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 16 years and being a police major, he retired. Already in April 2023, he volunteered for the Northern Military District.
Whilst participating in the Invasion of Ukraine, Muslim Sultanov, a fighter of the 177th Marine Regiment, proved himself in battles and in special military operations in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine near the villages of Robotnye and Verbove. For courage and dedication, personal courage and heroism, Muslim Sultanov was awarded the Medal “For Courage” by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
