On August 30 , 2022 , as a result of an artillery strike by the military forces of Ukraine on Russian positions in the Kherson region, the communication center of the 205th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade was destroyed. 13 military personnel died, including the Chief of Communications, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ruslanovich Tokbayev.
