> April 2022 brought tragic news to the Grishin family. The news spread like lightning throughout Smolensk and beyond. During the performance of combat missions of a special military operation, the commander of the 49th anti-aircraft missile brigade stationed in Smolensk, Colonel **Ivan Ivanovich Grishin** , an officer, husband, father and grandfather, died. He was just over 50 years old. 

> The military personnel took the initiative to perpetuate the memory of the commander. Today, on Defender of the Fatherland Day, the bust of Colonel Grishin was inaugurated.
