While on a working trip to the Finval-2023 exercise in the Providensky district, Roman Nikolaevich assisted in organizing patriotic events for the Youth Army members and residents of the village of Provideniya.

> Recently, our army has begun to rapidly lose many experienced commanders in rather suspicious incidents. So, for example, during the formation on the occasion of the award, on February 27 in Elenovka, Lieutenant Colonel Roman Nikolaevich Kozhukhov, [Major Alexander Abilov \[Cargo ID #1149\]](https://topcargo200.com/1149) (pending), Captain Nail Shakhmanov and 16 other professional soldiers from the 155th Marine Brigade were killed.
